Female entrepreneurs have been an important part of Arlington County’s economic growth and development for decades. The women featured in this exhibit exemplify those early female visionaries who faced the risks of entrepreneurship and unequal expectations assigned to their gender with grit and tenacity. In doing so, they successfully influenced and changed the way that Arlington County did - and continues to do - business.
